microformats wrap up - google maps now returns hCards!

One of microformats patron saints (you can have more than one yeah?) Jeremy Keith has an enthusiastic wrap up on microformats after his recent trip to New York. He mentions the official news that Google Maps now returns hCard as part of search results!

Last week, Google’s Blogger announced hAtom support in all new blogs, and blogs which use unmodified templates in Blogger!

Two huge leaps forward for micrformats adoption. Yahoo! has widely adopted microformats, but Google was the main “holdout”. Look forward to much more microformats support from Google. Fantastic stuff.
