Readers may know that for the last few months I’ve been hard at work on a book on microformats. It will be the first book entirely dedicated to microformats on dead trees (there’s an O’Reilly shortcuts PDF book by Brian Suda, who happens to be the tech editor of my book, as well.)
The official publication date is one week from today, March 26th (it’s the 19th here in Australia as I write this.)
The book covers every currently widely used microformat in detail, both coding with HTML, and styling with CSS (including CSS3 techniques). There are also detailed case studies of Cork’d, and several Yahoo sites which make extensive use of microformats.
It’s a very practical book, so you’ll come away with the know how and skills you need to use microformats in your own projects, while the appendices are in effect a detailed reference of all current microformats.
