The fine folks at backnetwork, long time supporters and users of microformats, have published a beta of a microformats parser, ufXtract. Be interested to see how this compares and contrasts with Optimus.

Optimus, Dmitry Baranovskiy’s fantastic online transformer for microformatted content which you can use in your projects to scrape the microformats from any page and transform them to XML or JSON, is now an open source project over at Google Code.
